Lead Paint Test

Structures constructed prior to 1978 are at risk of containing lead-based paint. It is prudent to obtain an LBP inspection at these structures when peeling or damaged paint is identified, or when these structures are occupied by children as they are the most sensitive to lead poisoning by ingestion. Renovation and demolition activities may also disturb lead-based paint or generate lead-based paint dust, so lead-based paint sampling prior to these activities is important.
